I think it would be ideal if you open at 12 but start racing before 5 (say, 2pm or 3pm). The problem I see is not when you open, but when we start racing. There's a 5 hour gap there. Opening at 10am and racing at noon would not leave much time for people to run errands in the morning (if they have to) and make it home in time to get all of their equipment and drive to the track.
I am purely speaking on logic not preference. Plus I will not be attending. But, within reason the earlier the better. For the simple reason of you never know the turnout. If it's light that's one thing (add extra rounds?)but if you have a huge attendance then you could possibly screw yourself. I have experienced shortened races and rounds because of this very issue. I'd rather race more than race less. You know your racing either way so you have to set aside the WHOLE day (this being the main reason for myself).Your never going to make everyone happy! Just an outsider looking in....just sayin
Fair point, but we have a successful WNW program that starts at 5PM and goes to ~ midnight. So I don't think starting later will have an impact on attendance. It's just a matter of finding the right time so that people can have a full race program and have time to attend to external matters on the same day.
Good points all...id say this Saturday we'll be playing it by ear a little bit since its a change on relatively short notice...in general, we want to be open earlier and start much earlier then 5pm. We will be open at 10 regardless....I have posted the change on the website as well. I am going to be starting a long overdue Facebook page this weekend to help get the word out on all rchr info, schedule and results...when you see it please like us!

So when you say track change is there gonna be a complete change or we gonna pull a John and change jumps and one corner? Know its hard work and a lot of work but yeah think it's time fresh one.
