Really just wanna run with James (
) I used to run short bus, it was an total different animal. Racing was very clean cuz most of the guys at the time running were mod guys and we all know there's no room for error in 17.5. Since then it just snow plowed Into a freak show due to the majority of the drivers being new to the hobby but I love short bus when driven with clean drivers.

Damn James trying to kill my win. Anyways I am happy with the 30laps. Unlike a lot of people I don't have much track time on this layout (3times since they put it in at beginning of December). So 30laps and a win I will take. I think I can do 31 though. Made changes to my car all night and it just kept getting better.
The most impressive thing of the night to me was watching Alex and Kyle battle it out. 13.8 fast lap is nasty.

All this talk about 17.5 buggy, and I wouldn't be surprised if I get hacked by a blue TLR22 at the start of the race.
I remember our conversation last Saturday about how you were doing at this track. I was not surprised that you placed well. There are other interesting trends I see from the Wednesday results, though. Informs my expectations about who I should really worry about. I do think a 32 lap run is possible, but it would be very hard. Would have to be a totally clean run, with a pretty ridiculous average lap time. If you **average** 15.5 seconds per lap over the whole race, you can just barely pull off something like a 32/8:15, basically crossing the finish line right before the buzzer. That being said, and considering who will likely place in the A and the likelihood of getting caught up with them if they get lapped, I would expect first place in the A to be something around a 31/8:05 to 8:15, with one or two errors.

As for speed and competition... Blake is the new up and comer, he has put in some amazing fast laps and aside from traffic from time to time he is extremely smooth.

That's a big foot.
Jeff, are you referring to us both landing the triple and his car flipping (maybe that was Trevor's car...hard to tell from the resolution)? Or are you referring to when Eric piped it at the far hairpin and I ran over his backside? In the latter case, I simply did not have enough response time to get around. Not that I ran over on purpose...just didn't see him crash at the corner of my eye until my car was right there. You will notice from that video that, after Blake and I crashed, I made every effort to avoid contact with traffic over the next lap as I got going again. You should watch that video more carefully.
To Blake's credit, he actually apologized later about the incident. It's all good. I told Blake he needs to turn it down a few percent on the track. Yes, he is quick, but he makes too many unforced errors. He can slow down just a tad and put in a clean run, and probably even win.
