Pure coincidence that no one drives Serpent in the A- Final?...Not a 977, not 988.

The team had a lot of bad luck. Both Dominic and Yuya had the pace and should have made the A final but had bad luck again in the semi finals. It is also a fact that Serpent don’t have the driver budget that infinity have - all of Serpents team are unpaid hobbyists and so I think they do very well.

A big thank you to Infinity, Sheperd, Conrad, Runnertime and of course RCRACINGTV.com for bring us unprecedented coverage and live feed. Amazing job! Hopefully, we get coverage half as good for the Nats.

Hi everybody and all ,
Just a few words to introduce myself. I'm a nitro guy because of the time i was born. I'm curious open minded and the fact that my father was speed addicted i came to nitro. Parking lot small tracks moustache and so on. Those funky times yeah I found interest in everything especially on wheels or with and engine. I've read this place from time to time just to maintain my knowledge ^^ Well i step into the place and i will thank all of you for sharing time knowledge and inputs. These things are part of it and bring (back) many of us to rc so thank you

For this 21st WC edition haven't been there. I've viewed many hours of footage. Yes i know but we all know we are crazy nitro addicts (well in this thread obviously) . All i can say about that is the team did quite well regarding the difficulties to this challenging track plus the mistral wind blowing dust across the track. Things can be difficult sometimes and due to many aspects of any racing class real scale or rc cars ( we can ask to Simon or Naoto's flat battery ^^' ) we can say they have been through with a new car and they did it . Premature end in semi but that's the way racing goes Shame that Capricorn team weren't up to speed yet but 1/8 Ic Fan nailed it. Adding some time on and off the tracks it will be interesting

As for Adrien he improves his speed skills and show a good pace throughout the week. Sure just lacks of time and i wish all drivers would give another shot with Paolo and Dj, Mike S, Scott K and many more just for fun and enjoying themselves with a bit more preps.

Anyway it was a good and rewarding event on many aspects and probably enjoyable to watch even if i wasn't at the track . But what struck me the most is that RC is still there after so many years and i just can't help myself enjoying it for what it is. It's changing and this rc starting class has may be more to develop. I hope it will be bacK for good and we all taking part for fun track time and so on.

One short video just to show like on superpole time the Serpent. The chassis seems balanced and the rear end a good rotation. Time will tell but what i see it's an improvement over the 977 . Compare to Dario's Infinity video it seems promising. You can found the same footage view from the podium to see Simon Dario Shimo 's cars etc. Hope you enjoy it

Regards from this little old's friend country we called france.

And given they are spread thin budgetwise, 1/10 electric, 1/8 offroad etc. When they were simy focused on 1/8IC their days were better.

This sums it up well-

"The former 1:8 and 1:10 World finalist driver continued that due to commitments with his hobby shop in Japan he had no time to test the new car before coming to France"

Car is more than capable with little work it seems-
