The Limes are very soft, and I would assume the car is rolling over onto edges of foams and biting as they are quite large @63/62mm.

The other thing that ALG pointed out was steering rate. Seems we werent the only ones to experience this. On slippery tracks we are losing front end grips hence the car understeers and we over turn / slip the fronts until the speed drops enough then they bite

We too solved a lot of snapping out of corners by reducing the steering rate on the car and the evidence is that when we race with more drivers, the track gets rubbered in and we get more front grip.

just ideas.. who knows what esle there is to learn!
this setup is for low traction due to low front traction and the front tyre worn out fast then the rear,i just notice it when i try it out just now, both tyre dont chunk,so far i have to low the ride height then before everything is settle now..

for the rear belt im using kyosho rear rrr rear belt, the front using the kyosho front rrr...

502 will fit in g4,my g4 i just upgrade with 3racing upper deck, just notice that 3racing have TM part, but k fac is more better, for me i just upgrade the weak part of my g4,since i just upgrade my g4 to rs,so i replace the front bulkhead,g4s upgrade kit,and now thinking if it is worth to get wc option part for the g4,

Does anyone know if the clutch shoes from the 09 will work on th 08? I'm looking at reviving my car and I want to use the (K14208) teflon shoes and
(K14207) yellow shoe. If they work do I need the clutch plate (505043) also. I currently have the UFO clutch on it.
Thanks.

Guys I still have the Original team magic g4RS not the RSII or 09 version I believe its called,

it is BRAND new never even mounted an engine in it I have a BRAND NEW not broken in ofna red dot II engine, do I still have a winning combo in a car? Are parts still easily available for it? or does TM still have the same US distribution issue from 2008? I have been away for 3 years and I dunno what's out there.

Should I sell it? has 1/10th on road improved at all since I left?

If I were to sell it what should I ask? once again it is brand new, I just built it and stored it.

Rcrevolution:

You can still get parts for these 08 G4RS cars, I believe Wolf hobbies are the US distributor and you can also get stuff from RCShopping as well.

It's not worth trying to sell it, i would just use it and try and improve your self as a driver. I have an Ofna JLR Evo 2 and it is a great engine and my best Picco thus far.

Enjoy your G4!

Harry:

This is a good read, good to see the boys flying the Team Magic flag and doing well.

Abbey has given permission to change project Mongoose to either G4+ or G4+ Evo.... Not sure which way to go, leaning towards to the + LE to be honest! Any thoughts will be appreciated!
