Hi,
If you want to save some dremel time, just pickup a premium power 7.4v lipo pack and it drops right in. What i did on mine is really easy. I put a small strip of automotive silicone on the chassis and put the battery on top. then put a small strip of silicone on top of the battery and bolt down the top deck. It's been there for over 1.5 years and hasn't moved. Just make sure you belt doesn't rub against it. I ran the wires to the front post to the regulator and use a deans to plug and unplug the power.

by the way, this lasts 3 x 10 min qualifiers, all day practices and a 1/2 hour race and it still has plenty of juice.

For the turnbuckles, get the lunsford titanium. I forget the length but here is a link to a kit on tower hobbies. Just search lunsford and choose a length slighter longer by 3-4 millimeters.

Chris made his with a dremel and a spare broken radio tray to make the spacer. I machined a new one that uses the MTX4 receiver mount to move the RX out to the side. I'll try to post some pics later.

about the turnbuckle and the ball end cup, any model would do as long as its longer i use x-ray replacements for this part since i have not much choice.

Dario Balesti use the same upright throttle position in the last world championship the design is almost the same as kyosho v1rrr evo2 wc upper deck. i also like his idea to move his receiver box like what JonnySocko mention

Hi,
Will do. I'm at work right now so i'll do this later tonight. I also made a battery guard out of spare lexan. Keep grime and gas off the battery. It also protects just incase a belt would fray and start to rub.
