Default G4 compatability

Now, just a question, anyone knows if this new G4II will share any parts with G4RS or other prior versions ?

I want to go back to 1/10 onroad racing, but i dont know if wait and get the G4II or just go for a G4RS version,

thanks,

Pat
The New G4 is completely redesigned. It is not compatible with the 502x chassis. Transmission, bulkheads, arms, top plate, chassis plate, etc.. all changed. The philospohy of low CG and marrow centerline was exploited to fullest in 502x chassis. To go to next level, the chassis was redesigned hence the new design.

sorry for the noob question guys but I was interested in this car back in feburary and took a break from r/c is this car out yet? and has TM done anything at all to improve US parts support?

also I have a Team Magic G4RS roller brand spanking new, will it sell for $270-$290? or is that too much for this kit already? once again its brand spanking new, I built it, never ran it.

Really interested to see how this car performs on the world stage in the hands of professional drivers. I always felt that the current G4 (especially the Plus, RS, and Evo) were really damn good if set up and driven correctly.
That said, I just got my Evo and am too in love with it to give up on it. When I see some of the guys still doing well with their MTX-3's, 710's, and Mongooses it just reminds me that I should focus more on my driving and less on what I'm driving. I'm not a great driver and no Nt1, RRR, or G42 will ever change that.

But, if somehow money came along and jumped in my pockets, I just might have a G42 before the end of this year

cool I might get one pending my g4rs sale...

it just sucks that I cant walk into my LHS and buy a spare part for this thing, I have to order and pay shipping for it, where as mugen kyosho, xray, etc is well known and much better established here in the states and you can walk into many more shops that carry mugen, kyosho, etc parts over Teammagic parts.

We are based in the East coast and we have very low shipping rates to the 48 lower States. currently we are updating our prices . we should have the prices up by tomorrow 6/2/2009.

are you taking g4II pre-orders? and if so whats the price on them?

and since the g4 II will have almost new parts, how fast do you think you will be able to hop on g4 II parts?
