Hey guys, my battery pack that came with the kit will not hold charges anymore. I have some leftover packs from previous g4's and was thinking about disassembling and restacking them. Should I just use sections of wires or do they make battery bars for AAA batteries?

i used mine without re-stacking. I angled the pack and used zip-ties to hold it in place. It passes really close to the belt though.

It's temporary until i buy another pack. I saw one on ebay -- gp 1000mah cells. Looks good. I may just try it.

Charles.

I tried that but it wouldn't stay put. It also did come real close to the side belt.. and with me using it for racing... one tap on the wall or another car, and it may shift just enough to chew up the belt...

It's do able. My friend restacked the battery with bigger capacity batteries, GP900.

Need soldering, medium thick wires, and heat shrink cover.
