Hey Mark,

The MF .12MasMo will have a ceramic bearing starting in 2007. Sell yours to one of those guys out there that chase you all and every weekend (lol) and get the new one!

I know your next question ..... will there be a price increase??? ... maybeeee a little one!!!!

Hope your electric season is going well. We will have the new E car for your next series of races!

Have a great Christmas and pass that on to your dad for me also!

Sam

Hey

I just noticed that my rear measures 204mm.

I have the rear pivet ball set at factory specs, 4mm spacing from the arm to the hub.
Am i the only one who noticed this? I am measuring it from back of the wheels.

Default Track Width

I know what your saying about the track width !
My first G4 had this problem and although I haven't yet got my new G4s, I've heard that people were having to wind those pivot balls almost, if not all the way in to get the 200mm tack! : nod:

Dude, not bad. Something to think about though is it might keep rocks from comming out as well. It's sort of damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario. But maybe the ratio of keeping rocks out is higher with your plate that you made. Let us know if you strip less belts with that little guy installed. Hope it works out well! Good luck! Later.

of course.. i thought that the problem of the small rocks carried from high position.

But G4s front bulk cover system is rather complex.. so i think small rock from high position percentage is low.

thanks for your advise.. and if the tip has trouble, i will remove it ^^

If you have set the rear up as per the book, there isn't usually a problem with the rear width.

Check the tyres and make sure you haven't got the offset rims. Most manufacturers do an offset rim (required on the MTX) so just check that you have the 0 offset rims.

I run the Jaco tyres and I can adjust the width as I please without having to screw in the pivot balls.

Cheers,

Mike.

Makes sense ,especially with the Jacos.with 204mm could be you have 2mm offset wheels on your car.

With the rear balls screwed right in I am at 194mm
But I cant screw the top in enough to get any castor, so I have to unscrew the balls at least 2mm.
