I believe the new ED system has holes in the bell for adjusting clutch spring tension but the current UFO bells do not have these adjustment holes.

anyone know if that will be completely compatible with my Mongoose centax clutch?
Im asume it will fit on the SG shaft, but will the spring adjusting nut fit on that and will there be and rubbing issues with the clutch weights

rcrevolution - the link you show doesn't seem to work for me. I am guessing that you are looking for a new housing. I take it you don't have the UFO clutch system but the kit clutch system. I don't know what other fits however maybe Dennis could help here. I would think just to purchase a Team Magic housing and save the guessing?

I have managed to put the orignal back on and I was wondering, how much play do I need between the clutch bell and clutch shoe?
I have 2 washers under the bell to increase play and I still could use some more, is it natural to need more then 2 washers to increase play?

RC you need to add shims behind the clutch bell so it sits about 2 shims off the shoe. Then shim the front so it has about .015 end play. Or about the thickness of 2 shims removed when it has no end play with shims installed on the outside.
I'm not sure if that one will work or not. I know a mugen or serpent one will. Most of them are the same as a G4.
The issue with the hole in the bell for adjusting the nut is that it sits in the wrong place. with the spacing on the G$ it really would need to be further forward which would put it under the second pinion somewhat. Some clutch bells had a hole but it was kinda useless because it didn't line up
Ick
pillow ball from a RRR will work on a G4

cool thanks I have a question about the shocks
should I lay them down like an MTX like so
http://img162.imageshack.us/img162/6...ture071hs3.jpg
or leave them stock which is one hole over and a more "standing position?
what are the benefits of each position?
also I need a quick setup tip
what should I set my rear and front camber at? and my front and rear toe?
I am running at 0 camber but I slide too much around corners, I am also running 0 toe in front and rear.
my ride height is about 4mm is that good?
I dont have setup gauges and I need to do this by eye so if you could tell me by mm I could set it up that way since I have a caliper.
thanks for the help

0 toe and camber is bit silly unless u are only going in a straight line
try 2 camber on the front and 3 on the rear
and try 2* toe in on the rear and 0 or 1* out on the front
that should stop sliding

about the gauge, you can ask someone who has it and borrow it. However, you eventually should get one

I would run 0 degress camber for a rubber tyre setup.... A foam setup does run a lot more negative camber.

I have reassembled my clutch on my Mega ZX12 with the Picco collet and will now see how that goes. Does TM or anyone else have a tool for adjusting the clutch spring tenstion? I don't think my fingers can take any more attack from the pliers, i could end up loosing a finger
