what difference will it make to the cars handling if a 3mm split is used to a 1mm split being used with the 19/19/26?
will a 1mm split put more strain on the drive belts with the 19/19/26?
cheers

I run a 18/19/27 pulley setup and start my tires @ a 2.5mm split. From my experience as the split decreases the car tends to loose steering in through mid corner. With the same shore tires front & back and a good setup your tire wear front to back can be close enough where the car's feel won't change during a 20 or 30min main.

They have replied that they are discussing it.
Wouldnt it be cool if all the guys supporting Darren could email TM and pass on the request.
Im sure they will see how popular he is for the TM brand.

Got new motor and got myself back on form.
Had plenty straight line speed but a little to much punch, so may go for a 20T pinion next time out.
Running only one weight in the clutch weights is definately the way to go, no bogging and plenty of infield drivability.
Took FTD today and 2nd in the 10m final, and that was only because I lost 2nd gear after only 4 laps (was not lapped by leader).

G4S Gearing changes
Dennis devloped a new internal gear system for the G4S that some of us got a chance to run this past weekend at Toledo. It was a very definate improvement, and I picked up about .3 sec's per lap. I also ran the new Black clutch spring with all the weights in the flyweights, and dialed a ton of clutch in it. Dennis reworked a Kyosho UFO clutch bell and pinions. The motor just came to life, and the bottom end pulls waaay harder!! The first column of numbers is the standard drive numbers, and the second is the numbers for the improved internal drive. I also undertsand in afew months Team Magic will be offering a still lower internal drive. Some of the prototype stuff I saw was really really trick!!
