Purely to let the hot air out of the cockpit.

The car is a front engined 700bhp monster and it gets really hot in the cockpit after a couple of lap. Plus the driver is really working physically hard in there and needs as much cooling as he can get. The F1 guys have it easier

Even then, you occasionally see them sneaking to open the visor once in a while

Exclamation Regarding KHM

I think I read that they would release a "limited" quantity of KHM engines to the public this fall. I read that in regards to 1:8 euros (meaning .21 engines). However, I guess it applies to .12 also...

Ummm I guess it's how you set the default page layout...

I'll reset mine until I see mine at the top of the 100th page... Else, I cal always do some editing and deleting in the beginning of the thread to make mine come to the top

I believe Roland Strom (Ec1) mentioned in the 1/8th scale thread that in the 1/8th Euros in Oslo, some Serpent drivers were not too happy with the KHM engines and went on to opt for their own.

Anyway, I am very sure that the engine (even the .12 version) hangs with the NovaMax driven by Fantini himself The lap times between him and Salven were very close.

That's a good one

I was actually referring to some editing of a few lines here and there to make my post jump to the top of page 100

InitialD, I read that too in the 1:8 thread. Im still new to this game, and the 2105tms holds the nt200 lap record at my track, albeit in a ntc3. So i guess its still good enough for a n00b like me

BTW, I think Ström used a standard mr12 this season in his mtx-3 and still won every race.

hey initial-d

did u get the 4mm chassis ? is yes how much and how strong ?

bend my chassis after the front bulkhead (near the improved screw mounts) when it did a flip (i'm using the lola bumper). was quite surprised it's not very strong when i hammered it back in place.

thinking of switching to touring coz the rubber bumper might absorb the impact first, protecting the chassis. other thing to worry is the carbon shock mounts if touring body is used.

I think it's sad in a way that you guys have to run legal begal engines... It would be interesting to know how on fast a 5 port 2104TMS would perform on your track

Really? We'll try to make him comment about this... I think it may look stock but for people like him, I'd bet something is done to the engine
