Dan filmed the entire 1/10 "a" qualifier yesterday. I put the two pieces together, and posted it this morning. You can find it as the last image in the Saturday gallery, and temporarily I also put in today's (Sunday) album so people will find it more easily.

It starts during the warm-up, and ends after the last car pulls into the pits.

Any additional photos from today will be posted in the Sunday album.... hopefully the rain holds off!!!

I would like to see some Pan car action, they deserve a bit of coverage as well.

I think you will get your wish. I took about 900 photos today, need to filter out all but the best. They'll probably get posted Tuesday or Wednesday, after I get home.

The race went from a potential rain-out to one of the best GLC events I can remember. The schedule went along like clockwork, and while the shortened events may have bothered some people, others preferred it!

The club did an awesome job - I never heard a single complaint. The track was in great shape both before and after the free wash-job from Mother Nature. Thanks to the forgiving nature of the track, there were a minimum of broken cars from contact with the boards. The loudspeakers kept everyone informed about what was going on.... the event just ran like a well oiled machine!!

From watching every one of the races, it was nice to see how just about all the drivers treated others with respect. I saw cars that got ahead during a crash, just pull off to the side until the other driver passed them, and then try to do it cleanly next time.

The local Boy Scouts Troop served up good hot dogs at equally good prices - I didn't try the other food, but it looked good. They survived a sudden burst of wind on Saturday that turned their tent upside down, and blew away a lot of stuff on their table.

The racers did a good job of being where they were supposed to be with little prompting from the PA system. Marshals just did what was expected of them. I know some are disappointed at their results, but that wasn't because of the way the race was run.

I've seen every GLC from back before it was even called the GLC. It's nice to see so many racers year after year. It's also nice to see several who do better every year!!!!

Enough - this is too long already. Thanks to everyone involved, and I'll try to get to the photos ASAP.

A huge thank-you to all of the GT's that came out! This year had to be the most competitive field yet. Even though my results were pitiful, I think I had a good time. Thank you Rick' s engine rentals, David and Mike for the help and laughs.

Congrats, guys. Will someone help me out by filling in the chassis/engine combos for the podium finishers?

I have all the "driver info sheets" for A-Main drivers. It is all typed into a spreadsheet, and I can post it in a few hours.

Some things I couldn't read, and a few pages were missing. Is it OK if I post this the way it is now, and you guys can correct things as needed, or should I wait until I get the additional information from Ted?

As to Photos, there were over 900 from Sunday. This has been cut down to a little over 200. I will delete some more, then try to do the upload by the end of the day, today.
