Default Lighten drivetrain

Hi guys, I'm looking for option parts that can help lighten the drivetrain. So far I have the titanium clutch bell and front CVDs. Any other suggestions?

on a capricorn car? it has by far the smoothest drivetrain on the market
Capricorn has no option parts, if its better - its in the kit. thats the big difference to other brands imo.

Just check to have the belt tension as low as possible without the belt skip tooth.

greetings

Smoothest of the belt drive cars indeed....Shaft drive cars will always be smoother though....

I think they call that option part a CNC.

Looking for setup tips for extremely loose dusty track.
Tried running my car on an extremely loose track but couldn't get it the rear planted no matter what I did. I tried the following

Switched rear diff to 60k oil front diff 300k
Rear tires 35 and front 40. Normally run 32 front and 37 rear but that's when traction is good
Hardest front springs I have (white) with the red rear springs
Front blade sway bar set to stiffest position (straight up) and removed rear sway bar
Rear toe -4 and front +1
Ride height 6.5 front rear
Tire diameter front 60.5 rear 62.5
Rear camber -3 front -1
Front droop 1 rear -1. I also tried going more droop in front and less in rear still extremely loose. I'm actually a little confused on which way to go front and rear when it comes to traction ie: loose = more or less droop in front and rear
Clutch is set to it's softest settings so it engages early and doesn't launch

Have another race coming up in 2 weeks. The condition is going to be the same but it's parking lot racing so it's to be expected this time of year. I would just like to be able to get around without sliding out at the slightest touch of the throttle. Any help would be appreciated

I would suggest to use this setup for super low grip conditions.
Dont go to extreme with setup as you will mess up the cars balance.

Greetings

Try these changes

-Front droop 0 or even negative 1
-rear drop at 3
-toe in for the rear +3 on each side
-toe out for the front -1 on each side
-rear camber at 4 on each side
-FYI in loose condition a stiffer setting for shocks is better. So use blacks all around if you can.
-Use front shocks laid down and rears up one position from the bottom
-I would also try to use a stiffer front diff or a solid and then put the sway bar flat.
-Also put 1mm of rake in the chassis. front ride height 6 and rear at 7.

I think this will help you,

Thanks guys. I'll try the setup for the next race. I'm 99% sure it's going to be the same loose conditions.

That set up Thilo posted looks really good. I would put that entire set up on the car as your starting point.

Does anyone know the size of the little CAP-18507 that holds the piston onto the shaft? It sheared off last night and I don't have a replacement. The race is tomorrow and I'm hoping I can find something to use until I can order the part.
