Finally i got the chance to drive a X3 GT

One of the local stores organized a full day event just with 1/8 .21 Onroad and Nitro GT

I didnt had the time to go deep in setup, basically stock diffs and new oil on shocks ... other than that full stock ...

AND I WON !!! (and won 1/8 .21 3T too) ... very very happy with the performance of the car ... :

Thanks for all the info posted here about the car ...

cya !

If you mean same size pinion to spur, I don't see why not. Just have to find the right combination of parts I suppose.

Has anyone tried? What types of speeds does the gear ratios give? Is it decent ? 60 mph

With 4S and a 2450KV motor you will need a 21T pinion driving the kit 44T spur.

Be carefull as that setup will only work for short speed runns.

Using that on a track has the potential to kill even the best available battery.

Converting that for a nitro you will have something like 36000 rpm and use same gear ratio for second gear.

You might be able to go for a 20T pinion if you get your engine up to 40000 rpm.

What gearing set ups have you found best?
