Ah man LA was the reason Gus and I bought the Flash Rally. The straight is so long there we wanted to open them up big time. I'll bring the ISON too and see what everyone else is running, if the Flash is way faster than the field I'm sure Gus and I will swap em out.

I see nova did away with there "basic sport" line. That being said I pulled up the exploded view of the ison5gt and the basic sport n21-5t and there same motor other then the crank. Piston rod sleeve carb block head button are all the same. Me gt motor has a balanced putty filed crank vs the n21-5t. Smoke in mirrors

Basic sport is now the "live range". There onroad 5port now called the "brave" is the same as a n21-5t.

Very good info bro....I kinda felt it was going to be an off the shelf rehash...based on that low price ! Carry on Nova !

I have the N21-5T and it's a great little 5 port. I changed the head for better cooling , but I really like the way it runs.

A fellow racer asked me about this engine, since I don't have or plan on having one I really couldn't say much except that I "heard" its just the old 5T with a putty filled crank?

I am not a fan of I "heard" I would much rather discover from some of you that have this engine and have disassembled it and looked at it or would post a picture.

The info on the Nova website says the the piston and sleeve part # is NVR08549 and that is typically for a Kangaroo and is NOT a 5 port.

Thanks...
