If the problem is too much ride height on the front it could be caused by front anti roll bar being set too deep in the cup. This will cause the front suspension to not move all the up and down due the the fact that the ball is bottoming out in the cup and limiting suspension travel.

Where are you measuring your 1mm of droop at? Are you doing it on the arm, knucle or lower edge of pivot ball. It sounds like you may have set the downstop incorrectly.

Info on Serpent Nine Sixty '07

Hi guys, just a brief comment on the 07 version of the 960. This car is a natural evolution of our original 960 and FD version featuring some performance enhancing and durability upgrades.

Nine Sixty '07 includes:
- Servo saver system with adjustable Ackerman, 4 positions;
very easy to use system with nylon inserts
- CV-front drive shafts: hardened steel and precision-made
CV-axles
- Harder nylon parts throughout the whole car to increase
chassis-stiffness and make them more wear -and breakage resistant
- Modified left rear bearing block, improved stiffness and
improved 2-speed shaft support
- Black anodized chassis plate for new looks, with extra
CS-hole to mount the rear left bearing block (LCG is an optional)
- Carbon fiber side plate with coated alu insert with High
Speed 6x13 bearing, for improved 2-speed shaft support and chassis-stiffness
- Nylon adjusting nuts to set the 8.5mm pivot balls front and
rear; these replace the alu versions and the small pivot cup used before.
- Machined aluminium upper suspension-brackets with nylon
roll-center inserts 1mm lower than previous version
- Fuel-tank with bronze filter and o-ring sealed AFL-cap
- As extra: Wide off-set steering blocks, for tracks where
even more steering is need
