I can actually get a really good deal on a reg kit, so what parts are in need of imediate replacement.(i.e. hop ups) or is the stock kit good enough as it is?

By the way, anyone looking for a Nitro TC3?

The stock kit, well built and set up is very competative. The pro kit just has most of the upgrades you will want.

ok guys what's the real deal? some people say you ought to have a 1.5mm split others say 2.5 and even 4mm difference in tire diameter between front and rear, being the front tire the smallest when running 19/16 side pulleys in order to get even or close to even tire wear, what tire size is everyone prepping for the main? I am a newbie to nitro-foam tire stuff! please help.

thanks O.R.

i am not running the mtx-3 anymore, but when i didnt run the 19/16. put a 23t (from serpent) in the front pully and leave the back stock. run a one mm split. it is better than the 19/16. probably all mugen team drivers are doing this.

Sorry but none of the guys I no are doing this, all we ever run are the stock pully's, we never use anything from another car to make our cars re-act different.
We normally run a 1.5mm splint in the main, front tires staring out smaller.:)

Sony have a 1.100mah AAA cells ... very good ...

I managed to solve my runtime problems. I stuffed in two 2000 mA Li-Poly batteries in my Mugen. I'm now getting 2 hours run time. I used the Novak Nitro servo regulator[ cool blue light] . That nocked down the voltage. The weight is 3 grams more than the stock 750 mA. HAYWYRE

They are doing it over here in Europe a lot. Seems to work better with the 16/19 conversion.

Be careful with the regulators. They have a tendancy to stop working. When this happens they short and the receiver gets a sudden 8.4v burst which goes through and destroys digital servos.

Kawahara (K781) works great on tight parking lot tracks.
