so the screws that go in the front of the sway bar holders not the allen key screws that set the droop correct
|
Correct!

the flatter the sway bar = what?
the more angle = what? |

Originally posted by Slotmachine I run 0 offset GQTires and dont have a problem with wheel rub, I dont understand why you guys are having so many problems with that. Or is there somthing else I am missing? While the reasoning is logical, I haven't actually tried it to find out. Anyone? Yes, the GQ wheels are very good in terms of strength/rigidity - excellent, in fact. I also like that they fit quite snugly on the hex. Most wheels are just a "so so" fit. The tyres themselves seem to take longer to warm up but the grip and wear seems to be fine. We really must finish testing them properly. |
Diff oil
I ran 30,000 at first but we just sealed the track, now with the traction we have the 50,000 is great. I would like to try the 100,000.

what does the different diff oils do in terms of handling, i am running the stock setup, and i could use more bite in tight corners. what should i try. our track is small to medium size with a technical infield and maybe to straight streches.

when u order the kawahara center body post do u get a body post also or just the carbon fiber plate? it just shows the plate but kfactory shows the entire unit with post. does anyone else make it?

If you run anything lighter in the rear diff, you may experience excessive tire wear. What happens is the inside rear tire will spin more in the corner wearing the rear tires out sooner. As far as the body post question, you have to supply your own post with some, if it doesnt show it in the picture its not coming with the graphite. In cincinati you have massive traction, kinda like Toledo does. In parking lots, you dont have that kind of traction. I would not recomend any stiffer then 30,000. The flater the sway bar, the more front grip. (-)= flat (/)=45deg. (|)= straight up less traction and body roll but more responsive. |
thanks im gonna get the rear swaybar hopup, the aluminum one. is that one easy to set up, like i said i am running the stock parts now. and with the better sway bar u have to buy the aluminum brake bracket too right, doesnt the hopup sway bar have to mount to it?

If I am not mistaken, the sway bar comes with all the nessasary parts. |

16/19 conversion
Hi Guys,
I am running the 16/19 conversion with a metal 16 kawahara rear side pully and belt......the problem is that the 16 pully and belt are worn away very quick....belt replacement after about 4 meeting and pully about 8 meeting. Is there any plastic gear out there a can replace the metal pully with coz i noticed that the 19 plastic pully with very little wear !!! Hence was thinking if i replace the metal one the belt would last longer. Is there any other similar conversion that i can use to make the front tyres wear more quicker like the 16/19 conversion? Thanks xtreme888 |
