Originally posted by black-knight Have not started building my MTX3 yet, but i have been reading the instructions etc.... so i have a few questions.. 1. Lower Arm Postion, is adjusted using parts T0128 (A,B,C) AND T0129 (A,B,C)...using these parts changes what? am i right in assuming this changes roll center? Also if were to mix and match A,B,C parts i could change the Anti Squat??? 2. Has anyone tried different Akerman postions? "A" is the kit pos. Thanks in advance Paul i was talking to the walkers last sunday about the lower arm postion, they have only run them in the STD posititon (b) so far. a couple of other things i found out are you need a couple of spacers to take up the slack in the lower rear arms make sure you run the brake pads over some emery cloth before putting them in the car (they bind a little) up until now the kit has gone togeather great ,i only have the radio tray and shocks too build now then its up to moorebank to have a days testing on monday :D :) |
One of the faster brisbane drivers is swearing by the "B" ackerman linkage.

the car looks good be carefull when cuting holes in windo if your going to race at a roar event 1 2inch hole in windshield all side and back are leagle I awalys cut a 2 inch hole even for a club race allways run by roar or norca rules so you dont have to wory about the change making a diffrence your moter mite run coller with two holes than one. just my thoughts
