Default MTX3 Setups

Hi Guys,

Just about 2/3 into the build on my MTX3. Kit didn't come with a diff washer, but other than that, everything has gone together very smoothly.

Where's the best place to get setup sheets?

Any other tips?

matt

Default Front Tires bent

I am using the 16 - 19 teeth conversion. I save front tires from my other cars to use in the MTX-3. It works very good. Some of the tires have had hits and are bent in varying degrees. Anybody know how much this affects handling?

They don't rub, just a little out of true. I imagine it has some detrimental effect, but is it significant?

Thanks
Jose

it depends how out of shape the tires are, the greater they bent the more wheel hopping will result, specially the inside front tires when turning

If the front tires are 0 offset and not rubbing you should be okay
if they are 2 offset and they are rubbing I would say that yes that will hamper handling

I have a question. So, on this 16/19 conversion, do you have to true the front tires 4mm smaller than the rears to start with. Basically truning it into an MRX3? Just wondering?
