Tommy,

This is what I have and it was made out of a broken front shock tower.

That's what originally got me thinking about making one, but I haven't broken a shock mount yet, and don't have any spare/scrap graphite. I figured this one was basically what I need, so it's just as easy for me to buy it (as long as the price was reasonable). I'll have to keep looking for scrap graphite. :D

Have ya guys had problems with the stock bearings?? I inspected my bearings in the front carriers the other day. THey were slightly stripped. The metal shields I guess...were coming off. That's no good if the bearing blows in a race.

I was thinking about replacing all the bearings with teflon shielded bearing set from this company called competition killer bearings?? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=19168

Anyone heard or used that brand??

Bearings

I've replaced the 10x15 bearings on my car with the stock mugen bearings. After awaile, these bearing will go. Just use the stockers and you'll be all set. Stick to the mugen stuff.
