I saw a MAX at the track yesterday. the engine rev very fast with good torque. but the driver was reluctant to use full throttle. may be he is too worry to do that ! but what's the point of running a max?

perhaps he didnt want to ruin the motor too soon..

on every new motor i have, i dont usually push to its limit not until 3-4 weeks of 'getting-used' period after fully broken-in. Nor i will race the motor within that period...as i still believe the motor still considered 'very new' even after the break-in process.

just ease the motor a little when its still new...well this is just my style...

well, i'd run full throttle but will leave the motor run a little rich at about 85%-90% of the power...

There is no harm in pushing the motor, just as long as your controlling the temp and tuning.Rody Roem has stated on his forum that he runs in his engines at full throttle from the first tank on a run in bench while contolling the motors temperature to around 80-100C,now that's scary.

I wonder where manticore is,i was hoping to hear about his first run with the NS,maybe he hasn't got his speakers on and can't hear the chime that MSN makes when you get a new message LOL.

I actually use 2 o-rings on both sides...one in the one-way out drive the other on the drive cup. This centers the dogbones and they don't fall out anymore when I tap a wall. So far it's working. I haven't broke any of them yet.

I guess if there's no other reason besides loosing them I'll keep using them until I loose them, then I'll make the switch.

For ground clearance, this is straight: 4,5mm at the front and 5mm at the rear. I run on a real smooth track. Sometimes lower, but is caused by tire wear too low and you will be scratching your chasis to the ground, pay attention to the ground clearance.

Tip: Ever you touch the shock collars to adjust ride height, check too the camber angle on the wheels or you will get weird tyre wear.
Thanks Corse-R.. need that opinion..
