I fried another Hitec servo yesterday.... just before the main
I was using the Hitec HS945MG for the throtle and stop working... w/o a logic explanation. It is the third one in the last 2 years.
I am planning to change brands.... so i decided to ask you guys what would be my best option.

Use KO, you'll never go wrong. I have the PDS-2143 for my steering and the PS-2174 for the throttle. Work out nicely on my Futaba 3PK and JR R-1.

Hello, the stain that you see on the piston is perfectly normal. It happens to fuels that contain castor oil. Castor oil has very high flash point that will continue to lubricate even at high temperature and they are necessary for all Novarossi, JP, RB, Picco etc,......car motors. However, the top of the piston, combustion chamber, exhaust outlet and the manifold will be black after a couple of gallons, they are a result of the combustion process, it is normal. If possible, please look at some other piston( not the new ones) that have had already gone through a gallon or two of another fuel(that contain castor oil for that matter) and you will see what I mean.

MY thoughts are that the Mugen CVD's are the only neccessary hop up part. The other parts are nice to have but really aren't needed.
