Yes, this car has been winning lately. For the past three races, it has dominated, but then again, everyone has this car now. I remember three weeks ago when all I saw was NTC3 now all I see are MTX-3. I set TQ and had the race in the bag but I forgot to charge up my battery for the main so with 6 mintues to go it dumped and that was the end of the race for me.

i prefer to make my own pack with high quality cells. The draw back is that it is easy to kill the AAA size battery if you heat it up too long time. So far i have good run time with them on both V1RR and MTX3

Winning races....

Got our first race and whew!

Was our first race of 'Turbo era' and really big guns were aligned on the starting grid. Weekend for me has been some kind of disastrous...  My 3port Rody went quite good until some ugly broke left me out of racing.

In total I broke:
- T0126 L & R (caused by a liftoff and some 'brute' landing after a long fly).
- Front belt (hummm, this is some kind of recurring).

Any has experiencing some problems with belts? mine starts to shear by the external layer and all the exterior finish gets unbonded and have some belts with the aramid wires to the air (some kind of mat is seen), on this state are very soft and quite drag free, but their durability is very limited (it barely lasts a 20 minute semis).

Could be the wheater or maybe a bad batch of belts? some buddies are experiencing something similar.

The 705 drivers after this race, need to work very hard, cos we spanked a lot seems that the poison of the last weapon of Serpent isn't very hazardous, all three 705 didn't passed from semifinals. Finals were a matter of NTC3's and MTX's. :sneaky:

could possibly be a bad batch of belts, we had some mtx2 belts snapping for no reason. sent them back to mugen, uk who returned them to Mugen for checking!

Tank

Have any of you guys had any drama's with the tank or top deck? I've got a bad leak in the rear seal, and the fuel has separated the carbon next to the belt tensioner!

I know Alex (kickass on this forum) had a problem with his fuel tank with the first run of the car. The rubber seal around the lid was leaking fuel, making his engine play up. Haven't seen or heard any problems with the upper deck.
