Hi asw7576,
You'll find an Excel file attached. You just have to know all the pulley sizes and update the cells accordingly to get the over drive chart you need (standart, 19/16 conversion etc.). Moreover, you can use this sheet to calculate the ratios for any chassis. Even for 1/8. You need to replace the related cells (Average Front and Rear Tire Diameters) to get the actual diameters.
Enjoy it.

Actually it's okay. After couple of uses, the belt will be loose.

If you insist to make it loose now, you can soaked it in WD-40.

Sorry if this question was asked in the past but I need to know the new gearing for the MTX-3. It seems that the gearing I have on the car now has the "BIG" teeth spur and pinion and I need to know the new conversion for the "FINE" teeth conversion. Can't get the gear I need (47t).

I think the Gears are similiar to those runned on the MTX-4. I see the labels on the packaging for the MTX-3/MTX-4 fine gears. Just need to know the 1st gear and 2nd gear pinion and spur combo. New to all this and need your help. .............The track is 125' foot straight away with flowy infield.

Thanks and can't wait to run this car!!

You are looking for the .08 gears. I just looked and Mugen USA does not show those gears on their site anymore. They have the .08 gears for the mtx4 but not the mtx3. If you call them they may still have some but just don't list them anymore.

Default Gear Chart

The MTX-3 prospec and MTX-4 both use the same .08 spur but the MTX-4 uses a different type of pinion and clutch bell.

I'm so bored..........

I modify one of my MTX3 into 2WD version.

If 2WD doesn't work, I'll switch it again to FF version.

rcabj & devious17 : Are you coming to Jakarta for Pre FEMCA on 7 & 8 April ?

I heard from JITC owner there will be some Malaysian, Singaporean, Brunei, Japanese and European drivers coming to test the track before the real event.
