Hey guys,
Can you tell me the difference in the A, B, and C blocks in the rear of the car? Will the C block give more traction versus the B and A blocks? Thanks |
Re: Loose on Power only when turning right
Originally posted by TAW My MTX-3 has developed a loose condition on power but only when turning to the right. this seems to have happened afer a nasty crash a few weeks ago. I have gone though and checked all the obvious causes. I did find that the radio plate was cracked and the aluminium radio tray support was bent. I replaced those with new ones. I have the 4mm chassis and it does not seem bent. I did not take it off the car but on a flat surface while attached to the care it seems straight. Put it on the tweak station and it seems fine. This is only when turning right, basically if I give it gas it spins out. To the left I can hammer the throttle all day and it never breaks loose. I am a little stumped. any suggestions? Thanks |
I have some similar problem. What I found was in my carbon fiber front shock tower. Some how...I broke it. It just crack enough to bend the shock tower it self...and enough for you to just miss it. Some how stock shock tower was easily brocken. I did upgrade to 3racing thick tower.

Another question, what diff lube are people using in the rear? Thanks

Re: Loose on Power only when turning right
Well, after tearing down the car it looks like my 4mm chassis it slightly bent in the front. On a flat surface the front area where the bumber mounts is about 1~2mm off the surface. Weird part is it almost looks exactly even side to side so its odd that it only affected right hand turns. I guess a tweaked car will do wierd stuff?

That could have caused the problem. |

Many people are using 50k in their diffs. I just don't understand why they have good results with that. Oh well I'm going back to 10k. Thanks |

Depends on how much grip is available and whether the track is real smooth or very bumpy etc... well its true, all up to track surface, low traction use lower dif oil,hi traction higher oil,but solid rear actualy difnrt car reaction..:sneaky: |
