yeah and money is what i barely have i was hoping for a cheaper way like getting more ports or something for the T-15 cause i lose on the staight but im back after the U-turn

i didnt spend alot i got it new for 90 but i just want to make sure i dont do anything stupid like what happened to my nitro 2 so if i can get a new sleeve that works better or a carb ill be fine cause college is taking all my green lol

I have been testing this engine for a few weeks now and it is fast. It is not as fast as my modified Mugen X12 by any means, but is a great engine for the money. The modified TZ is much faster than the stock version, but still not X12 fast. The engine lacks that 3rd gear that the Novas seem to have, and 2 people I know have had problems with the idle stop screw breaking or backing out. The engine gets good fuel consumption, idles for days, and has one of the smoothest powerband of any I have tested. Good motor, but not the fastest.

What motor runs good on a small oval track??? I am using a sirio s15 at the time and it runs ok, but it really doesnt get to open up on a small track.

It seems that alot of guys say that the os .12 tz is really good on a small track, but it also depends on how much your willing to spend on a new engine.

It is superior to the NSR12S3 IMHO.
On the straight, where the NSR cant go anymore, the X-12 keeps pulling.
The TRUE Long stroke also helps the engine.
If your geared correctly, its a killer on the straight (150 foot+++)
The NS12 is for smaller tracks. It's a high reving engine and does well on the inner track as well but as I said earlier, it putters out on longer straights (unless geared correctly and shifting correctly).
I would choose the X12 over the NS12 any day. That is why my NS12 has become one of my 2 back up engines. If you want an equivalent to the NS12, take a look at the RB V12 3 port. It retails for about $220.
If you really want a long stroke, and it suits your driving style ... the Novarossi N12LL is an exact twin of the X12.
