All this EVO talk is putting me to sleep! Just kidding! T-Bone showed me his today, one fine looking car for sure.

Set up my Due to be able to adjust tweak if needed, car ran fine without it. I see the new car completely floats compared to the older car. It's going to be interesting to see what it all means.

Here's a pic of my completed WRC GT DUE 2013. It went together fine, with a few things I, at least, had to be aware of during assembly.
The paint I was told was "McLaren Orange" is way off and the stickers are test pieces until I get my "#48 Dan Gurney" version. May get to run it if the rain ever stops. Of course 50's and rain is better than 10's and snow!!

I guess people thought you were not really serious.

The suspension has nothing to do with steering, the cars steer by turning the front wheels right and left like most cars. The chassis flex acts as the suspension similar to all "pan" cars. This style of chassis was the basis for most of the RC cars in the beginning of the hobby, front and rear axles are connected to the chassis "pan". The T-plate is an early attempt at rear suspension as is the front steering blocks sliding on the king pins with small springs.

I am cause i have been looking at this thread and the other pan car thread. I want to race 1/8 but there is no beginners class in 1/8 4wd. Im just looking at start up cost. Cause ill either be racing 1/8 or ebuggy this summer.

Then this is the class for you! Toledo has the biggest class in the USA of Pan Cars and races on a permanent track just off I-280.

The Toledo One Eighth Racers (http://www.toledooneeighthracers.com/). (10 to 12 races per season)
These cars are also raced in the Midwest Series (http://www.midwestseries.com/) (5 to 6 two day races per season)

Ok will i would like go talk to someone on the pros and cons of 1/8 pan car over 1/8 4wd class. I did like the video of them racing. They remind me of my wgt car jusg with more power.

Are you saying, Das1/8 Mopar that you believe that this new car can handle bumps better than the Due?? We don't have any nice onroad tracks to race on where I live so we will be running on parking lots. I have a Due but I believe I am going to have to modified it to deal with the bumps on the parking lots. I am going to put a T-Plate on the rear end and make the front end like an Associated 10L for the bumpy parking lots around here. If I go to any of the onroad races in Ohio I can just remove the modified front end and put the stock one back on making it legal to race at your club races.
