I wish Ifmar would get away from rocket round and use qual points. This way the top guys can give their full effort in each round.

No, not yet. I don't have too much footage of the fast guys. Their driving is pretty consistently great, so spent most of my time watching them.

Mostly took video of friends of mine so they can see their lines and hear their engines/clutches from a new perspective.

No...no LiveRC nor RCRacingTV....RedRC will only provide video clip, I doubt there will be a full footage of the 1/2 and main at all....you will find out the result on SAT thru RedRC and myRCM.

Really good to see the Viper at the top of the sheets! Great work by the Serpent team and drivers.

Final round is done and no change to the top 25. Paolo the first to improve moving up to 26th. I can't get over how much slower the track is from temps. Losing a couple tenths is common but this place slowed down like .4.

Does anybody know why they changed the "4 fastest straight to final" rule?
Its just dumb...

Yea it was pretty lame if the track was slower the top guys just gave up and the guys who did bad the first day had no chance later on.

Yeah, rocket round killed a lot of the excitement of qualifying. I was following the offroad worlds and the qual points format had so many people following the whole time.

It's simple.
The semi final and finals are run at the same day. With the old system of 4 direct qualifiers, they had the advantage to perfectly prepare there car for the main final. The other 6 finalists which came from the semi's didn't have that advantage....

There is a proposal for the EFRA AGM to go back to the old system with 4 direct finalists.

I like the idea of everyone running a semi but think it sucks that a TQ could not make the main for one simple problem in a semi. I would like to see the top two or four locked into the final but their starting position determined by the semi. So if you tq, you could choose to use the semi as practice or skip it altogether and you would still be in, you would just start at the back or try to race your way onto the pole.

that also a nice idea Sean!

Did anybody actually noticed what a local Japanese racer is doing?
He only ran the 6th qualifier (or atleast he ran that one with a transponder) and is bumping his way up, already from the 1/128b, into the 1/16b.....
He actually is getting the most out of what he has payed.
