Default hpi super nitro rs4 engine size?

I recived a hpi super nitro rs4 onroad car in on trade. I can not find anything on the motor for a size. The only thig is says is picco xp in the head and has a P stamped in the block. I am looking to repace pull start for rotostart. The starting rod which goes into the motor has a little hex head on it. Anyone know what size engine? Thanks

Normally it has a smallblock engine. Probably it is a .15 engine, a number like 12, 15 or 21 should be mentioned on the crankcase.

I know it most engines have the numbers on them but this one only has a P stamped in it. Any other thoughts

On both sides?

As I mentione is should be a .15 if it is normally mounted without modifications.
Has it a side or a rear exhaust?
You can messure the bore/stroke to be sure.

But the engine is already some years old, If you want to mount a rotostarter I think it is wise to go to a LHS and try some.

It has the P stamped on the front side of the engine and the exhaust port coming out the back of engine. The starter shaft has a small hex head on it instead of a one way bearing if that helps any

This is what we call a rear exhaust:

And this a side exhaust

Regarding your text you have a side exhaust and with Picco you have a smallblock which is probably a .15.
