if you look at the other views the shock tower is also attached
the other graphite peice that holds the camber link. so there is a
total of four screws that i could see to support the rear shock tower.

Although I'm gonna get the car anyway, I'm sure that is the weak point..... come on man ..... only two screws

Francis : yes, i know there are 4 screws but they are not correlated.

Looks like i may already have a good spot to put a 5th body mount, look at just behind the oneway, small hole with nothing there.

MTX3 only has 2 screws holding the rear shock tower on, same from the front on the MTX3.

But does the MTX-3's rear shock tower hold the body posts? Its only the shocks and even that gets broken. Thats why people use the 4mm shock towers.

NTC3 need "the fix" is not because of the shock tower/diff case connection...it is the SCREW / Material of Plasitc situation.............Japanese made car use self-taping screws with plastic conncection..........and AE NTC3 engineeer (who get their engineering degree from 7-11) decided to use MECHINE screws with plastic....to make it worst, use 4-40 screws with hard carbon type plasic.......it will take 1 second to strip the screw and plastic...

Like mugen, kyosho or even Serpent.......the plastic screw connection will take weeks or months to get stripped...I am sure that F/R diff connection screws are self-tapping instead of machine screws, unless the bulkhead are aluminum..........

Back to topic : MTX4 finally come with 5.5mm longer rear suspension arms to avoid traction roll ( that often the case in MTX3 ).

oh, i am not questioning the car at all. it was just a thought. by the way, on my mtx-3 there is no self tapping screw. but i used to drive a serpent also which did have tapping screws.

but then again, we've been waiting for this car for a long time. and i'm pretty sure it went through rigorous testing before coming out. and i'm positive that there should only be minimal, if any, mishaps that it may have that only the real durability test can find which is the public... (i can be a very good durability test guy )

you are right. the ntc3 is just not engineered well. that was the main reason why i bought the mtx-3 when it came out about 3 years ago.
