nah not yet. a mate told me it has really good steering.

i put this body side to side with a proto mazda 6 and the rear end on the blitz is longer. this will either meen more downforce and less front steering, or if the front is good, good steering good downforce

the body is very stiff, if you look at the pics it has rdges on the botom front spoiler and 3 ridges on the hood. if you are a basher, on a budget i recon this body will last a fair while.

i'll post a report after this weekend. it is my first race with the 4!

Agree, looks beefy and brakes much better (at least mine does).
Dude, if you try to use brake springs in MTX3's brake pads is not working. I know that because I tried and the spring didn't work.

Only MTX4 kind can do. I was refering to my MTX4.

Mugen Titanium pillow balls
Skyline radio tray support
Skyline hollow steel 2 speed shaft
Kawahara 1st gear adaptor
Kawahara 2 gear adaptor
Mugen Titanium upper screw kit
Mugen MTX3 rear CVD's installed on the front
Mugen MTX4 rear CVD's installed on the rear
RC products 4mm rear shock tower

I was using the following servos both with aluminum servo horns. I have a Futaba 9451 on steering and an Airtronics 94737 for throttle. I used a Protoform Dodge Stratus. I measured using a hotmod Novarossi N12LL3 with a monotuning 11 fin head (stock head weighs 42g, monotuning head weighs 45g). I weighed it using Kawahara tires trued to 58.5f, 59r.

My car weighed 1695g.
Hi Scott !

With a personal transponder (8g) added to your car, you'll be 1703g.

Is the minimum weight requirement 1725g with transponder ?

I didn't list it, but my car already had the personal transponder in when I weighed it. I will edit my first post to reflect that.

Yes, the minimum weight with the transponder is 1725g. I added a pretty big chunk of lead to the chassis and put two nickels into the front bumper.

Super Super simple.

Remove the foam front bumper. Use a dremel bit (In the picture I showed the bit I used) to hollow out a cavity in the foam. Put the change into the bumper and reinstall the bumper.

Where did you place the rest of the weight?

I put in on the side of the chassis near the side belt. I am sure it is throwing off the weight balance, but it was the easiest fastest way to get the weight on it. I am going to look for a more central place, but in all honesty I am quite lazy

There is some space underneath the rear belt as well. may move some of the weight to that spot and maybe open the bumper spot to hold 3 quarters instead of nickels. If I can move the weight to the centerline of the chassis and put it front and back (I want more weight in the front to get extra off power steering) it will preserve the side to side balance and give me the extra front bias I want.

The pictures show where the weight is currently, and I tried to show that spot underneath the rear belt, but it isn't a great picture.

mine was 1763 when it was a stocker
the number will be slightly different from others because of different systems (electronics, motor, etc.) used.

Hi Scott !

Noticed you are using tyres with a 0.5mm split of front and rear.

Just wondering whether you are using the 25T side pulley or still on 24T with overdrive setup ?
