It's a shame that Ferrari body is for the long wheel base... The Mc Claren looks amazing too.

I agree, its making me put my long chassis back together for some good vid if nothing else!

The latest batch of kits now have the HD oneway bearing included in the kit!!

Surgery is now beginning!

This turnkey build is headed to the Philippines, no holds barred he wants the absolute best of everything and wants it as light as possible so all of the screws are being replaced with aluminum, the turnbuckles are titanium, I made shock towers that are half the weight of the stock ones, short rear shock, custom lightened arm braces and the REDS M7T GT engine(lightest out there at 348g) that is Stage 2.5 modded! this will be fun, i think i can shave off about 200g or so, the screws are really heavy by them selves. He has already shelved his Serpent and actually purchased another TeamC just because he didnt want to wait!! They have a unique track so I am helping him with the setup on the one he has now and we will apply that knowledge to this car so it should be a rocket when he gets it! Fun stuff.

You have to realize that the engines need to wind out, its not going to hurt it. the powerband on a 7pt is high and thats where you want to keep the engine at! and most importantly watch your laptimes!

Thanks for your opinion ... now a query ... WHERE DO I GET a GTV2 / TEAM C 40T Spur ? ...

thanks ...

The Maclaren is the most popular so far followed by the GTR ,only a few Ferraris.

Light weight arm braces!

the normal braces are right at 100g with screws, these arms with aluminum screws are 56g, the shock towers are 28g lighter and i have shaved almost another 90g from almost all of the chassis screws. When I put my car together and on the ground my ride height increase by almost 3mm!

A total savings of approx. 200g with the alum. screws and chassis screws, light arm braces and light shock towers, that should increase corner speed for sure.

Just came back from the track, HUGE difference most noticeable on exit. New REDS engine is a beast, the sound is like nothing you have heard before!
