I do not know which engine must be modded but if you have already an high end engine I think modifying is not needed.

Go back and dig through Murnan's thread. He has posted results several times.

Neal at Clockwork posts results regularly too, but he is mainly an offroad guy.

Here's one. I have decided to keep most of my testing private. I have been told by some manufacturers that's what's best for me. I deal with lots of different engine manufacturers, and I don't want to make any of them mad.

If I was looking for a top level modified competition Onroad engine I would recommend Murnan based off his reputation on this forum.... I am capable of modifying anything, but I do not race onroad nor do I have any experience with onroad...there is not a real onroad track within 1500 miles in any direction from where I live.... So without any track to test on or races to compete in I would not be nearly as qualified as Murnan would be.....I do engines for DM-1 and GT cars quite often with good success, but 1/8 and 1/10th racers are not something I am too familiar with.....For racing engines offroad is my specialty and what I have the most testing into....I do plenty of high powered basher/play engines and can make almost any engine fast...But unfortunately as we all know there is a pile more to a top level race engine then just simply making it fast... So for true onroad competition engine to be used in racing I would recommend someone like Murnan over myself, he just has a pile more experience with 1/8, 1/0 nitro onroad racing then I do......
