If you follow the messages in the MTX-4 thread today regarding gears, you'll notice that a few people recommended keeping the same teeth difference between the pinion gears and the spur gear to avoid stripping the gears - so if I drop the 16 to 15, I should drop the 21 to 20. Hmmmm... What do you guys think?

The "blue aluminum camber link / diff holder / shock tower mount" is actually called the SP Rear Shock Stay Set VZW207. I just installed mine on Sunday. It's pretty expensive.

Who makes the blade type sway bar... Kawahara? I would like to check that out as well.

I ran a 16/23, 61/55 combo without any problem at my last state race. My friend used 16/23, 61/56... again, no problem.

Thanks, Jag. Yeah, I think it's made by Kawahara. No idea where to find it, though.

when you do a normal search it comes up a goose eggs.
hey what are you all using to remove the pinions ?
I have the VZW040 wrench, works great for the second gear, but for the 1st gear does'nt for a flying #####
I have set of plyers that I have put shrink tube around the jaws, but looks a little cheesie.

rmdhawaii, that's the one. Shouldn't have edited your post. I was preoccupied and didn't post in time. oh, well drfritz got the english version.

drfritz, I've been using the plastic set that Hpi makes. It works pretty well if, you don't use a ton of thread lock on the pinions - and you have a strong grip. Here's a link:

Yo, Cuffs! What-up, dude?! How about getting Trinity to make some 2mm offset 30mm rears for us? It would make things a lot easier for us all. I promise to help you with your set-up, if, you do.
