That is the shock tower that everybody was using at the worlds

Front ......VZW052
Rear........VZ231B

Hello RRR addicts

Do you think I will be able to race the RRR without ABS radio ? I have the JR XS3 and this will be the first time to race a one way + I'm a new racer too, all the giys at the track have the R1 (almost everyone) is ABS a must ?

I think the Kyosho drivers were using the optional shock tower from the Evolution, which is almost identical to the Kawahara, and the rear shock tower from the rubber tire version of the RRR.

No, ABS is not a must. Most people at my track don't use it. I try not to use it but I sometimes do when the traction is low.

Abs would have to be your own call. noone at the tracks i go to uses ABS. I have heardit is very hard on your servos because of the pulse. You will get used to the one way and not feel the need to brakes as much. The driving style changes as you sacrafice braking but can carry more corner speed. When i drive with a diff i am much harder on the brakes. where as with a oneway setup i brake less and in fewer places on the track.
hope that helps

Do pull start engines fit in the tripR? I have a Techwell and was thinking of upgrading to the tripR from my vonesII.

Thanks.

No, you can't use a pullstart engine.

What belt tension setting is everyone using now that the car has broken in? I think the rear belt on my car is too loose now.

Thanx guys for the ABS replies. that for sure made my day as I just got the JR XS3 and couldn't imagine spending again to get digital servos and new radio ,,, let alone trying to sell the XS3 , now what engine are you guys using and what's you're track type ?
