Well Nimo Im not one to get nasty on these boards, but what the hell does that mean???Ive seen bone stock MTX-3's smoke everyone,I had a NTC3 that handled great and with the proper motor was fast as hell(I ran a Novarossi).Right now I have a Mongoose that some swear by.None of those cars cost nearly 500.00.My Mongoose was 199.00 and it comes with alot of upgrades.I saw Darrin Ishitani come from 2 laps down in a race in Vegas, with an Ofna.So maybe you need to elaborate more on your statement.

That's only an additional one hundred dollars for all these hop-ups: Front & Rear Universals ($40.00 each.), Carbon F-Shock Stay ($16.00), One-Piece Aluminum Engine Mount ($35.00), Aluminum brake hub ($13.00), FRP Battery Plate ($12.00), FRP Middle Plate ($5.00), Lightweight 1st Gear Housing ($21.00), SP Drive belts (3) (12.00 each), Shielded Bearings (for the steering linkage) ($11.00, $13.00). Even at $480.00, your spending less than you would buying these separately. The best thing is, you'll already have all the components used to win the World Championship (sans the driver ) and place EIGHT spots in the final, for that matter! Hey, listen - I'm definitely not the guy, to promote, spending big money on anything unecessarily but I believe this car is well worth it. Truely a "build and win" touring car.

Ok....well I broke down and bought a RRR WC. My RR Evo has served me well but the time has come. After seeing a factory RRR driver (Ron Atomic) and his car run this past weekend, I decided to make the move. I know that he is a factory driver but, it was clear that his car was easier to drive fast than mine. Win on Sunday....sell on Monday as they say is true.

With regards to rear shock tower, besides Skyline what about other brands like East or 3 racing - how would you compare them interms of durability and settings options to the stock ones?

MTX3: plenty of them used here, but most have to run them with MTX2 rear hubs to make them work.
NTC3: Cars is too brittle for UK use, even running a kerb can break a swingarm, and as for the rear diff rings stripping, but I have to admit that when they stay together they are very fast.
Mongoose: ?? never heard of it.
The car that won the National Rubber series last year (when it was the main class) and is now leading the National Foam Touring Series (this years main class) is not a Mugen, Serpent, Kyosho, Associated, Yokomo, or Ofna, the car is the Team Magic G4 tricked out with Kfactory parts.
My statement is : the RRR WC works from the box (unlike most other cars including my FW05).
