I am all signed up for Nitro Sedan and 1/8th GT.

Spent the day at Timezone practicing. Track looks incredible with new stripes, surface, and fresh paint on the curbs and driver stand. The new surface is amazing! Traction is way up and tire wear is way down. I ran the day and about 8+ tanks on 40 rears and 37 fronts and still have plenty of tire left.

Lap times today:

Nitro Sedan 16.2 sec before my best was 16.9
1/8th GT 18.4 sec before my best was 19.0 sec

Ehrlich and others had 14.1 sec laps in 1/8th scale. The track record is 13.9 but that was after a full spraying of Lane Choice. All these times are without any compound down.

Just over 10 days and counting!

I see Troy remembered what I told him about the sealer. Glad it worked out for you. Just don't go sealing it every year and all should be good. Wish I could make this race.

Troy after you left, Ehrlich was able to get a 13.9 in his last run. It's pretty amazing. I think the racing is going to be pretty intense in a couple of weeks.

Morning Guys: a great weekend of work and practice. The sealer is a 12% emulsified rubber base, made from recycled tires and seems to be the perfect match.... only one place it could be found, NOT your average parking lot sealer RCMikle..... Rick made a lot of phone calls, and for the last 10 years we have talked with alot of tracks and heard a lot of horror stories of people using regualar latex based sealer with susupended grit material in them that just kept coming up. This product also had clay in it to help stabalize the rubber

Once we got cars on the track and the rubber/fuel/foam it just got better all day

That is awesome!!! I am glad the traction is up and tire wear is down. We went trough a lot of tires in the previous years.... So this is very much appreciated!

Based on the running so far, what shores do you recommend for:

1/8 - I am guessing 35/37 fronts and 35/37 Rears

1/10 - I am guessing 37/40 fronts and 40/42 rears

Any feedback you can offer would be much appreciated. All the Cannucks (6 of us right now) are wondering what we will need.

We are very excited to come out again. Your race is the highlight of the year for us.

We were just hanging out with Brian B. and Paul at the IROCC Race. Man on man of man! I just Love summer and good ol' racing NITRO Racing! FUN!
