What's the difference exactly bigger one way bearing?
On the new one-way the bearing housing has been updated to reduce flexture under load.

Personally I recommend anyone to use Silicon grease to lube the one-way bearing. Basically the same stuff used to build a ball differential. Stuff from MR33 or Hudy works really well.
With the silicon grease the one-way bearing plus axle last at least an entire season.

Dear All,
Has anyone tried the Capricorn conical washer (cap-417ss)?
What's your take on these vs conventional clutch springs? Read up on belleville washer but not much info with regards to RC application.
Many thanks in advance.

I use silicone diff ball grease as it works wonders.

So if the one way is still fine i can use it and replace it later on?
Or will it damage my new shaft?

Thanks

Thanks
I use ordinary Dexron/Mercon transmission fluid, a lubricant designed to work with sprag type bearings and clutches. Got away from using any kind of grease on a sprag bearing a long time ago as it tends to gum up roller engagement and attracted more dirt and tire dust.

What's different between TYPE A and TYPE B?
What would the rear upper roll center change? (0,1.5,2.0)

The more ackerman in the steering linkage, the more aggressive the steering feels and the more turn in. That means the more forward the ackerman the more aggressive. A = more aggressive

For the rear roll center. The higher up you put the pins on the lower arms the less traction you are going to have on the rear end. This will give the car more steering all around, as the traction in the rear is less. This is different than the top roll center adjustment with the linkage, just so you know.

Without using numbers I will explain how the links work and you can see what position you want to use.

Just know this, the longer link give more stable feel with less reactive response.
The more angle the link has, the more off power stable and more mid corner and exit rotation
The flatter the link, the more off power steering (slide) and more traction once you get on power.

Hope this helps

Hi guys,

Has anyone tested the new wishbone front top?
What is the advantage over the normal?

The difference would be, if you run the car short, you can set the car with more caster. Also you can run the car narrower as well.

Does Capricorn make new car or new update of the LAB C801 CE version before the World championship in October?
