No support or communication. A Main hobbies has now dropped Shepherd (i called and asked them yesterday). Very little effort to maintain contact with US customers. Believe me, I love the cars. But Shepherd could learn a great deal from DJ Apolaro and Desoto Racing. They are doing a great job promoting and supporting Capricorn in the USA. Capricorn is another similar boutique brand that needs promotion to work. Look, it costs the manufacturer nothing to maintain good communication. Too bad. I hate to see this happen. It is completely preventable.

I hope Shepherd regains interest here in the US. It is a great product.

Communication is always key. There are many people waiting patiently for the kits(myself included) and would be fine with a little info as to the hold up. I'm sure that the US distibutors are also waiting patiently and are not to blame. I hope things will be ok even though the racing season has already started. Support will definetly increase once the product is in hand. Maybe some of the distributors would like to chime in with some info. Thanks for the insight.

i have no idea what the facts are, but i suspect that having a winternats/snowbirds/1:8 worlds back to back to back has been a diversion.

however, 1/8 is in season...

To all Shepherd drivers!!!

Shepherd Micro Racing is working on some changes for U.S. distribution.

Please give us a week more to announce the final facts.

You can be sure that all Shepherd Products will be available in the next two weeks.

We are sorry for this situation.....

Best Regards

Armin

Default Shepherd Dealer

TMA Motorsports (TMA Marketing and Distribution) plans on continuing their support of the Shepherd brand for present and future USA racing customers. We are in hopes the upcoming changes that Armin and Patrick are planning will blend in with our business format.

For racers that purchased the Velox V8 '11 under our special booking order program will be given the option of a full refund. Or our customers can wait in hopes that Shepherd will get their distribution channel to dealers in line quickly as Armin has mentioned. Each customer will be given this option. Though it is not our fault, TMA Motorsports apologizes to each and every customer for the wait.

Racers running the Shepherd car presently, we still have parts in stock to service you. We ran out of some parts and our last fill order is not going to be shipped for a little while. Therefore some back orders of a few parts will be refunded for now and may be reordered after the pipeline of Shepherd parts is restored to us.

The Shepherd cars are excellent running and beautifully manufactured machines. I have said this brand is a sleeping giant. An excellent marketing plan along with great customer service can make this car very popular in the USA. I am sure Patrick realizes this and will strive for the very best customer service to dealers and racers in the future.

Good Racing to All!
