OK finally got the HPI super rubbers installed. I'm using traxxas 12mm hexes for 6mm axle. Nice fit!

My friend spotted these, I think my car came with these having foams on. Wonder what foams were used.

Still in the middle of the winter but it was above zero C so I took the car out and fired the motor with the old nitro I had left in my garage. It worked pretty well, not perfect but being quite cold I didn't spend so much time tuning it. So at least the motor works rather well and can expect running the stock motor. Plus it was a bit of fun after a long break.

hi,
did you get the tires ? I think the performance is average, you should be able to run on track fine.
I have not worked on the car even have a few new parts and it waits for the front end rebuild. Just haven't got the time.
I've been tempted to purchase the real 2-speed FZW56 but so far abandonded the idea because of it's price. That would allow me to use the Orion motor that have as spare. The cheaper unit can barely survive the stock GS15R.
If anyone has one to sell, pls PM. Also looking for rear exhaust header and pipe. Not sure if the header I'm waiting from japan to arrive will fit well enough.

Hi there super fans!
Got the FZW56 gearbox and I'd love to install the flywheel and pilot shaft on my Orion CRF .12 but unfortunately the dia of the SG shaft is larger.
I don't remember quite well so I need your help to refresh my memory - what parts do you need to install a flywheel and FZW56 clutchbell on it ? Thanks

I also got a new carbon top plate FZW23 but it is for the FW03 I guess since it does not fit the FW04 (should have been FZW52). If anyone is need I'm willing to send it since I have no use for it. If you have clutch parts like the ones above to trade even better.
Thanks again!

Hi, a hobby shop japan seems to have these parts avail so I'm trying to get from there. I think these are what I need for a sg/pilot shaft engine to install the fzw56 tranny.

I have some extra parts like the fzw23 carbon deck that i can send if anyone interested as I have no use for it. Cheers

Hi Mika, just saw your post; so you are needing a clutch nut for an Orion .12 SG type shaft, correct? I'm not sure if kyosho made a specific Orion shaft, but if we could get the measurement of the FZW SG type pilot shaft , then we could find another shaft that's made for an Orion .12 that would have the same (or close) length. Shims can be used if the difference is minimal... I'll see what I can come up with

Later man, Jon

Hi Jon, I believe it's pretty much standard measure like the O.S RX-15 so the same parts should fit, no? Is it 6mm dia.

Are your fw03 supers in need of the carbon top plate ? Can send it to you, just pm your address if you like!

Thanks bro!
