Well, we are getting ready to trek home. I am shocked all the racing was completed. The weather was just troublesome. The race management did a good good constantly adjusting, so, all is good. The late evenings at the track were tough, but, that's racing.
Nice to see so many old friends and making many more new ones. Nice meeting JD Crow - we have spoken on the phone, but, in person, I'm even more convinced this guy has skills.
Serpent is a great organization. Complete support from Paolo, Chris, Juaquin, DJ, Sam, Paul and the gang was excellent. Solid team work and sharing. The final nice touch was Scott getting an eMail from Michael Salven and Ronald Barr congradulating him on his stellar performance in both Sedan and 1/8th. We made a great choice making the switch. Readily available parts, fast - hell, really fast, cars and very nice and helpful team mates - excellent choice for us, we are happy boys.
Learned a lot about set up strategies. We have always been hard core believers of ridged chassis set-up. Serpent has opened our eyes to additional tuning components utilizing the chassis as a fifth tuning element.
Well, all for now. Next race will be in Houston at the worlds. This was a fun time - hope the Texas heat doesn't kill these California sissies.
