If you are not having issues than I would not change what you are doing. Maybe your enviroment allows you to get away with just the oil. I would hate for you to change and then have a problem.

I am not going on Saturday for the practise or Quals, but should be there Sunday for the Finals. I will run on Sunday most likely.

Grease or oil, anything is better then nothing. I personaly have never had a oneway problem so Im not too worried about it.

You need a lipo specific charger. They are pretty cheap these days, around 50 bucks. Also don't let the voltage drop under 6v or it will swell and then its no good.

yours must be the heaviest 733!
body will add about 100g to yr 1750g...

seems like the weight of 733 can vary from 1710-1850g...that's a huge margin.

by the way, will it be fine if i change those m2.5 self tap screws for the diffs to normal m2.5 machine screws?

I would not reccomend it. The holes are made for self tapping screws. The machine screws normally need a slightly larger hole or they will bulge the nylon.

Why would you want to change them anyway?

I wouldn't do that with the diff. What's wrong with the self taping?

with the weight of the cars, mine was heavy. was 1805gr.
this is with a 1600mah nimh pack and no holes in my body yet. now i have LiFe pack, im sure to shed 30 grams. once the lightweight solid axle comes for the front, im sure to shed even more, making the car around the 1750grams. thats a comfortable weight margin for being legal. due to our rules, min weight is 1725grams. any less and you are in trouble.

a couple of my self-tap screw got stripped at the "+" and became 'rounded'; couldn't find any m2.5 self-tap screws at my lhs and those shops selling screws and nuts. what's available is only the machine m2.5 screws or m3 self-tap screws...

only self tap screw will hold... using machine screws there will just be asking for trouble....

Are u serious? Well i will put the body on and measure on another scale. so we are comparing a full rtr weight without fuel right?
