i notices my front sway bar was a bit bent and not quite symetrical (did not sit flat on a setup board). i bent it a bit with pliers. is that the thing to do?
also, im using new JR servos with grommets. this makes the mounts a bit thick and changes the alignment of fr and rr linkages. do i need to use the servo grommets?
thanks

First Run Impressions
Well guys I got to run the car for the first time this weekend...
at Ft Myers, and I must say I was Blown Away by the
performance of the car. The car was very receptive to
small changes and you noticed them almost immediately.
I have heard you guys say the sweet spot was very large
and I agree. My overall first impression of the car was
happiness - no more traction roll!!! This is the set up I ran
at Ft Myers and I am SURE it is going to change again - just
wanted to share with you guys

4mm caster in front of arm
5.5mm ride height

You can tighten the servo saver a bit to raise the metal up a bit, if the belt scratches the plastic parts, just use sand paper or a cutter to file it out a tiny bit. Mine is not touching after the modification.

Changed from JR servos to Futaba 9450 and 9550, and lipo battery and regulator. Wt. dropped from 1863 Gm to 1775 Gm. I have the Spektrum telemetry module and temp sensor installed; also I have the old bigger receiver, which probably accounts for most of the 40 Gm difference with Paolo.

I have been looking for engines as well. Being out of the states right now, I cannot see what most guys are running for the on road curcuit. I am tossed up between the novarossi 353, the RB Concept touring 9 onroad competition, or the RB Concept touring 9 RC on road competition engines.

so what is everyones verdict on the car after a few runs?
any broken parts, any wear in the drivetrain (belts, pulleys etc)?
how is the slop in the arms, linkages, etc? i noticed after a few runs of my rrr, everything was very sloppy.
also, those that are speaking highly of the car after running it, are you comparing it to the 720? anyone switch from NT1, RRR, MTX4 and run the car yet? Would like to see some input.
finally, what shock and diff oils come closest to the serpent ones? i can't find serpent shock or diff oils
thanks.

Shock oils are different Serpent 40wt is 1000cst, 35wt is 600cst, diff oil may be the same across the board but double check below.

I switched from the 720 and this car is a lot better all around. That sweet spot is as big as everyone is saying. Tried lots of changes on the car and so far nothing I've done has upset the car. It really is a great car.
