Hi, since I'm a beginner, would it be better for me to just use this car until serpent comes out with a car to replace the 747 instead of just upgrading my 733 to look like a 747?

I checked the price and it is around $210? The owner of the shop said the kit cost $520... 5 parts for $210 and a kit for $520.. Didn't really seem like a good deal to upgrade..
=)

really?

I do not need update.

Low profile servos, bottom allu plate 747 with this holes where it is possible
put weight, which can be moved from front to rear end.

Nice tuning.

Regards!

ps: front diff => 300k or 500 k diff oil all cases

Hey .
Are you still in Vancouver area . If so come to the RRR track this weekend and we will help guide you with parts for the 733 if you break anything . Three of us are running the kit and the te kit with us looking at the 747 for next year .
We are not doing the upgrade just direct to the new kit .

Hi!

Just asking ...

Two digital servos, futaba, bls451 for th, and team asso ds1015 for steering.
Futaba is abotu 10kg/0.1sec per 6V, and DS is 14kg/0.1sec/6V.

Now, probably I can do last race this year, but final is 45min.

My life accu is 1450mah.
Under discharge (linear, graupner charger duo 50) 2A to 4.5V from charged, it works 38min.

It is possible do 45min with 2-3min warm up on that accu?

AVG time on lap is 12sec using more full th then breaking

Regards!
michal.

Hi,
you should have no problem with time. I have 2 savox 1251 LP and after 45 min final I usually charge about 600-700mAh. I have LiFe 1450.

Ugh!

S733 sucks ...

1st gear always loose on my bumpy truck.

Gear shaft is too low compared to xray, kyosho, shepard ...
in left cornering car lean some and they always touch ground ...

not going more with 733/744
I can sell my 733 with all spares for 100 euro + shipping.
pm me if want

well i competed not long ago at Nationals with the 747, my first race with the car. i had some issues, more so about the track than anyhting else. it was terribly bumpy, and i think was a tough test for any car. in saying this, i ran the same belts from the kit and same spurs and pinions from Kit for 5 days of racing. not bad i thaught, and belts and pinions are still good. not one stripped spur ! although i had to change brand of tyres to extreme ungluing form the rim, and chunking. possibly due to the bumps and curbing.

I had this happen one time during a practice session. I let my rear tires wear down to 53mm. Other than that; the 733 tranny was rock solid. Looks like you have to raise your ride height if the track is that bumpy.

Pass you soon...

ok. I'm not perfect.

:-)

When my right tires go off (left side F/37, R/40, right side F/40, R/42) then car was like this\ so spur always grab ground.

I start from 64rears 61.8 fronts.
Tires goes off that R side was 1-1.5mm smaller on diameter then L side.

Anyway, if I will stay with 733 just for fun, I will move up that gear shaft 1.5mm, just add hand made allu washers.

Regards!
m.

ps: velox ordered.
