Alex, I'm alittle confused.

What is the difference between the two spring sets you offer for the V10??

#811520 which is what most of us use (comes with red, white, blue spring) and the new spring kit (dark green, grey, etc) - http://rcspecial.com/news/?p=42143

The red/white/blue springs are for the V8 not the V10

Hmm, then why are the red/white/blue springs listed on the back page of the V10 manual as option parts? Also, I am sure the packet had V10 on it.

And they are even sold as V10 kits at various shops:

BTW, Chris I do take your point.

I noticed that the optional springs (white/red/blue) are shorter then the standard green springs, and you pretty much run 90% of your preload on the front to get a decent ride height.

Default running at the winternats

Why was nobody running the v10 at the winternats this year, seems like this would be a great venue to show a new product and its performance. missed opportunity I think, we definitely would have seen if it was durable

Good morngin guys,
the springs.
Both spring sets are suitable for the V10.
The old set really comes out of the V8 stock but they fit also to the V10.
Of course the front springs are shorter then the new ones, but it it still OK.
The main difference between the "old" and the new set is the balance between the front and the rear spring. As the "old" ones (red/blue/white) have a "much harder spring in the front like in the rear, the new set springs have the same spring rate at the front and the rear spring !!

Winternats
We didnīt run a car there because it was not possible for one of our drivers to attend the race. We had so many "appointments" like the toy fair in Nuremberg, some national events and of course some time problems.
If you would see the racing schedule of our racers you would understand, and for us the Winternats are not so important at that point.
We will have so many races this year where we will HAVE to go !

Thats it for now

Alex

Hey Alex- based on this reply it sounds like you do not have a US driver.
Is this correct?
