I'd recommend NOT going to 2mm yet until you're comfortable and can handle the car with 1mm. Its well worth doing this mod.   |

It's the driver most of the time.:( |

Hi Guys,
Just need some assistance.. I was wondering what lube can you substitute for the Serpent One-way lube? Do you guys really use Graphite grease, any substitute? I'm about to build my car soon. Looking forward to your reply. Thanks, Titan |

I'm about to build my car soon. I don't know if you could use very light bearing oil on the oneway bearings as I have not tried it yet. The oil needs to be very thin and a drop of it will do. Some people have luck just leaving them dry ! But my thinking is why would there be a lube specially for oneway bearings then if you can run it dry? Furthermore, it's a bearing anyways and bearings always require some kind of lubing. Anyways, try and get the Serpent oneway lube. It'll last you many years with one bottle. I'm still using the same bottle after 2 years. |
