Which items on the car are considered common break items and stress related breakages?

This is as long as you get the updated kit with the longer rear arms, thicker upper bumper, thicker rear shock tower, and newer dogbones (not brittle like original dogbones). The only other problems come from axle wear, which can easily be prevented by regularly greasing the dogbone pins. |

Originally posted by Proficar403 It was not something that was really mentioned outright, but the original dogbones, like the ones included in most kits, used to snap easily on impacts. The new ones will bend before they break, much like on the impulse/705. The new ones are obviously heavier, though I have not weighed them. They also seem to be darker in color. The original ones had a slight fade to them. They have been available for a while now. They are not really worth buying if you can get the 835 shafts though. |

Well, usually the universal is the shaft with the axel. What exactly are you referring to with the 835?

I just got an email back from Serpent USA.
They said that we could order Part #SER100003 Spare Parts Set for Serpent 710 http://www.serpent-usa.com/product-page-ser100003.html Part #SER100006 Option Parts Set for Serpent 710 http://www.serpent-usa.com/product-page-ser100006.html from our local hobby shops, so the prices should be cheaper than what they have on the Serpent USA website. Yes, you may purchase these items from your local shop. Thank you for the inquiry. Best regards, Serpent USA |
I understand now, thanks guys.
