Interesting! So in principle although more droop makes breaking more stable, on a small track you have to use less to ensure that there is enough weight transfer to allow for better turn-in.

But since I cannot possibly have enough time to work on my cars, I send them to Stanley. He takes care of my car. Rene, Julius or even Michael will set my car up for me when he's not racing or when he's having a lunch or coffee break ! That's my secret.

Cool, I believe only the 10 x 19 x 5 bearings are different when compared to the 705.

But seriously, we are lucky Serpent's online support is top notch. If you were unclear of anything, you could always go to mytsn 705 forums and ask. Imagine what would have happen if the manual suck and there was no online support...

What gearing are you using? Stock from the box? The stock gearing is too tall for small tracks. It is only ideal if you run like those long flowing European tracks.
Change the internal pulleys to a higher internal ratio one. 23T brake pulley to 22T. 46T rear diff pulley to 47T. 18T rear side pulley to 17T. Also use 50T 1st gear spur (stock is 49T) and 15T 1st gear pinion (stock is 16T). For second gear, use 46T spur (stock is 45T) and 18T 2nd gear pinion (stock is 19T). That would give you about the same 1nd gear final drive ratio as the stock 2nd gear MTX-3 / V1RR EVO gearing.
