(oops ) for the Region 4 Race at Full throttle in June. The Kyosho is a very easy to build kit i was surprise how quickly i built it and to set up with the gages(3 hours) Just trying some thing different. How is your 710?
PHEW... I got a HUGE FRIGHT when I ran it. I have run nitro cars in the past, but that was a while ago. I know that the car is fast, but I never knew it could accelerate like it did. WOW... I will need to find somewhere that I can run without irritating the neibours... I think at my better halfs house, they will not mind as much.

The 710 Building is giong great!!! The car looks wonderful. You guys were right. You guys were right. The JR recievers do not fit. I had to do some mods to the box and the reciever itself. I will post some pics to show you guys whats up. Now I just have to get a engine, and bump box. Should I look into getting a serpent Bump Box or a different one?
Thanks

Might not be a bad idea to have something like a messenger to stop the "noise" traffic we have here
How hard would that be?

Default Sow's video

Hey, Sow, thought the video was great - looked like Ray Wood turned up
What was the problem with the Music!?!?!?! Hmm maybe a bit of Pink Floyd or Fleetwood Mac would have been more appropriate, but it was ok - oh man, I think I'm old

Listen to Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain" - the second half of the song was the BBC's Anthem for all F1 Grand Prix races from the late seventies until ITV took the races away from them Great song and the second part of the song fits totally with F1 racing

Cleaned my 710 this afternoon which went very well. The car is so easy to work on, the only thing is it's so small compared to my 950r

Took the motor apart and it looks like the easy handling with the stock setup messed up the new engine by enjoying it to much.

I have a nova based mugen mr12 can a p/s from a sx 12 be used in the crankcase?

the only thing I noticed yesterday that when on power out of the corner I got a bit of understeer, guess I will use red springs on the rear next clubrace, could be to much power though

Default What's this thing?

http://shop.the-border.nl/customer/p...cat=331&page=1

Is this a pressure regulator for the engine - saw something similar at the race last week. The guy with the 710 had some attachment which meant that the fuel system remained pressuried even during no throttle - he said it was analogous to using a capacitor on an electric motor.
He said it really helped the pick up out of the corners.

Anyone have experience of this?

Yep, they are a bit smaller, aren't they I'm still waiting to finish off my Vector NT - I'm not going to lash out a load of money on an engine though, so I'm waiting for something ok on ebay to turn up - where the price is around €80 - Don't want to invest too much just in case it isn't my thing. Then I'll only need a servo and fuel.
